Ian Jackson


Ian Jackson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he studied Political Science, Spanish, and Latin American Studies.  He then attended the University of Minnesota Law School.


Prior to joining the Will County Public Defenders Office, Mr. Jackson was employed at the non-profit Legal Assistance Foundation (LAF) in Chicago, representing tenants in eviction cases and other housing matters.  He also previously clerked for three different criminal defense offices, including the Cook County Public Defender.


Mr. Jackson is currently assigned to the Juvenile Division at the River Valley Justice Center, where he will represent clients charged with child abuse and neglect cases, as well as juvenile delinquency offenses.
