Anthony Purrazzo is a 2005 graduate of Illinois State University in Normal, IL. He majored in Political Science with minors in Legal Studies and Business Administration. Mr. Purrazzo previously worked at the general litigation law firm of Segal, McCambridge, Singer, and Mahoney in Chicago, IL from 2006 – 2008 as a paralegal. He then attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, MI. It was during law school that Mr. Purrazzo was an intern with both the Investigations Division and later, a 7-11 Intern with the Will County Public Defender’s Office. He was sworn into the Illinois Bar on November 10, 2011 and hired by the Will County Public Defender's Office four days later. Mr. Purrazzo handles a felony court call.
In addition, Mr. Purrazzo teaches undergraduate criminal justice classes at Joliet Junior College, where he has been employed as an Adjunct Professor since the fall of 2015.
