Mr. Durrenberger was raised in Kane County, Illinois.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and later his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 

Mr. Durrenberger has been licensed to practice law in Illinois since 2010.  He has done pro bono work with Prairie State Legal Services in Central Illinois.  Mr. Durrenberger has also worked at a private practice at a criminal defense firm in Champaign County, Illinois and a small firm in Kane County, Illinois, where he handled adoptions and real estate transactions in addition to criminal cases.  He has been employed at the Will County Public Defender's Office since June of 2018.
