Lawrence Bromden graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Certificate in International and Comparative Law was sworn in by Justice Michael Bilandic.
He was previously employed at the Chicago office of Jenkens & Gilchrist before he began representing consumer debtors in the Bankruptcy Court as an associate. He then went to work for the now defunct retailer, Bed Bath & Beyond at its Homewood, Calumet City, Williamsville (NY), Orland Park, Skokie, and Chicago Ridge stores. Following the COVID pandemic, he returned to private practice specializing in the areas of criminal and family law. Mr. Bromden joined the Will County Public Defender’s Office in June of 2024, where he can be recognized wearing one of his signature Jerry Garcia ties.
In his free time, Larry serves as an Honorary Member of the Antelope Running Club and completes a weekly pilgrimage to Costco.
