Madeline is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Before law school, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Psychology from the University of Denver. During her time in law school, Ms. Utter worked as a 711 intern with Loyola’s Child Law Clinic where she acted as Child Representative and Guardian ad Litem for children in court.

Ms. Utter was admitted to the bar in 2021 and joined the Will County Public Defender’s Office shortly after. She is currently assigned to the misdemeanor court call.
