Ms. Bertani earned a dual degree in Pre-Veterinary Sciences and Microbiology at the University of Wyoming and graduated with honors in 2016. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College for Law.

While in law school, Ms. Bertani worked as a 711 intern at the Will County Public Defender’s office. She graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law Magna Cum Laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November of 2021 and joined the Will County Public Defender’s Office as an attorney shortly after.
