Mr. Spesia was raised in Will County, Illinois. He attended the University of Iowa for his Bachelor of Arts degree in Ethics and Public Policy, and he completed his law school education at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois.  Prior to joining Will County’s Public Defender Office, Mr. Spesia worked in private practice handling corporate and family-based immigration matters.

Mr. Spesia was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2016.
