Mr. Stanley earned a degree in communications at Governors State University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University College of Law.

While in law school, Mr. Stanley worked as a 711 intern at the Will County Public Defender’s office and clerked for private law firms. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November of 2022 and joined the Will County Public Defender’s Office as an attorney shortly after.
